Biography

FRESHMAN (2014) – Herron manned the faceoff circle for a team-high 58 draw controls. She started all 17 contests and added 12 goals, eight assists, 16 ground balls, and five caused turnovers to her rookie campaign. Herron also qualified for the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 Academic Honor Rolls.

SOPHOMORE (2015) – Herron (17gp-16gs) increased her season point total to 25 (15 goals and 10 assists) while grabbing a team-high 53 draw controls as the team’s primary draw personnel. She was 1-of-5 (.200) on free position shots and additionally recorded 20 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. Herron was recognized as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week on April 20 after totaling three goals, four assists, three ground balls, 13 draws, and four caused turnovers in a 2-1 week of league competition against Dominican College (W, 9-8 on April 14), Philadelphia University (L, 10-17 on April 16), and Post University (W, 21-11 on April 18). She also earned recognition on the CACC Spring 2015 All-Academic Team and both the fall 2014 and spring 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

JUNIOR (2016) – Herron (19gp-19gs) served as a co-captain, tallying 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points. She earned Second Team All-CACC honors, grabbing 15 ground balls, securing a team-high 64 draw controls, and causing eight turnovers. A one-time CACC Honor Roll honoree (4/11), Herron earned Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award accolades, a spot on the spring 2016 CACC All-Academic Team, and was recognized on both the fall 2015 and spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2017) Herron (18gp-18gs) was the captain for the Griffins in her final season at the attack position.  She tied for fifth in the CACC for draw controls with 67, but her 41 assists led the league by more than 10. The senior also recorded seven goals to finish the season with a career-high 48 points. She demonstrated an excellent academic track as well, finishing the year earning both fall and spring Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll recognition, she made the CACC All-Academic team, and garnered the D2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement award.
