Biography

FRESHMAN (2012) – In ten relief appearances, Manzella recorded a 0-1 record and a 4.72 earned run average (ERA). Over 13.1 innings as the Griffins left specialist, he allowed seven earned runs on 20 hits and three walks while striking out eight.
 
SOPHOMORE (2013) – Manzella totaled 17.0 innings of work in his 11 appearances out of the Griffin bullpen. He offered a 7.79 ERA and a 0-2 record with 12 strikeouts.

JUNIOR (2014) – Manzella stepped into the closer role and fulfilled the order with a 2.65 ERA, a 1-0 record, and four saves. He allowed five earned runs while walking four and striking out 15 over 17.0 innings of work (14 appearances).

SENIOR (2015) – Manzella was the workhorse of the Griffin bullpen with 24 appearances (1 start) and a single-season record six saves.
