Biography

SOPHOMORE (2014-2015) – Josso was a mid-year transfer from Fresno Pacific University. Making a significant impact to the lineup, Josso offered a 9-3 individual record at number one singles and an 11-2 standing at number one doubles with Charlotte Dawson ’15. She garnered Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings in both formats, earning the ITA East Region’s #6 singles and #4 doubles spots, meanwhile collecting the program’s first individual national ranking with a #48 placement. Josso was also recognized on the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2015-2016) – Josso registered a 16-7 (.696) record at the top spot while teaming with Axe Owens ‘16 to go 17-10 (.630) in doubles (12-7 @ #2, .632). She was named the CACC Player of the Week on the October 12 after posting a 5-1 record in victories over Philadelphia University (7-1 on 10/6/15), West Chester University (5-4 on 10/9/15), and the University of the Sciences (USciences, 9-0 on 10/10/15) that helped the Griffins start the season 7-0. En route to the Chestnut Hill College women's tennis Coach's Award and her own All-CACC First Team selection, Josso knocked off several fellow all-league performers during the fall league schedule including Post University junior Diana Perez (First Team), Holy Family University junior Anastasiya Kolodiy (Second Team), Concordia College sophomore Demi Huang (Second Team), Caldwell University junior Tamara Klimek (Second Team), Philadelphia University senior Julia Arruda (Second Team), and University of the Sciences senior Victoria Quang (Second Team). She finished the season ranked #9 on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region singles poll. Josso also earned academic recognition on the 2015 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s Tennis Team and both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

While serving as a team captain, Josso finished the season as the #9 singles player in the Oracle/ Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Rankings, reporting a 10-6 record at number one singles – a mark that included a 5-2 standing versus her CACC rivals - and garnering her second straight All-CACC First Team recognition. She appeared on the CACC Women's Tennis Weekly Report three times in the fall; twice garnering the league's Player of the Week award (10/3, 9/26) and once donning the Honor Roll (9/19). Josso also enjoyed a run to the quarterfinal round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)/Oracle East Regional Championships defeating Le Moyne College junior Rithika Vajjiravelu (Chennai, Tamil Nadu) 6-1, 6-2, and - the ITA East Region #18 player – senior Angelika Sobiecka (Mlawa, Poland), 6-4, 6-3. Josso also combined for a 9-7 doubles record in matches with senior Louise Charley (St. Jean De Luz, France) (3-5 @ #1) and sophomore Daniela Siqueira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) (6-2: 1-1 @ #1, 5-1 @ #2). She finished her collegiate career at Chestnut Hill College – just over two seasons - with 76 victories between singles and doubles competition. Josso was named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) at season’s end.  Academically, Josso was a member the CACC Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team, as well as, both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Rolls, and a recipient of the Division II (DII) Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award.
