Biography
FRESHMAN (2011-2012) - Dickson started 19 of 30 contests as the Griffins freshman point guard. He averaged 2.5 assist-per-game (APG) and was second on the team in total assists (75). He averaged 8.8 points-per-game (PPG) with quality shooting percentages (.425, 90-of-212 FG, .410, 48-of-117 3PT, and .818, 36-of-44 FT) and was team leader in steals (46). Dickson's best game came against C.W Post University on November 11, when he recorded eight assists and four steals to go along with 13 points.
SOPHOMORE (2012-2013) – Dickson continued to play a important role in Coach Balcer's rotation in his sophomore season (26gp-9gs), averaging 7.4 PPG and 2.2 rebounds-per-game (RPG) while totaling 36 assists and 23 steals. He scored a career-high 19 points with six rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the 91-85 CACC Semifinal loss at #1N Dominican College on March 2.
JUNIOR (2014-2015) - Dickson turned in his best season as a Griffin, placing third on the team in scoring (10.6 PPG) and assists (43). Starting in 20 out of the 22 contests in which he appeared, Dickson averaged 28.9 minutes per game (MPG, 2nd on team) with a .361 (74-of-205) field goal percentage, a .343 (37-of-108) three-point clip, and a team-best .828 (48-of-58) free throw conversion rate. He grabbed 2.6 RPG, a slight improvement from the season prior (2.2), with 41 coming on the defensive end and 16 offensively. Dickson also collected 20 steals. He offered a career night in a 75-69 CACC loss versus Wilmington University on January 29 with 26 points coming on a .500 (8-of-16) shooting effort, a season and career-high six three pointers (6-of-10, .600), and a 4-of-6 (.667) success rate from the charity stripe. In the Griffins first meeting with the Wildcats, Dickson helped lead the Griffins to an 85-73 league victory with 15 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
SENIOR (2015-2016) – Dickson, the team’s Coach’s Award winner, wrapped up his career at Chestnut Hill College with 1,029 points, seventh best in program history. Dickson scored his 1,000th point in a dramatic 82-80 loss to Bloomfield College on January 22. He wrapped up his final campaign in the Scarlet and Gold by leading the team in scoring (17.0 PPG), en route to earning All-CACC Second Team honors, and the Albert Carino Boys Basketball Club of South Jersey as its Small College Player of the Year. Starting all 20 games in which he appeared (20gp-20gs), Dickson averaged 34.7 minutes per game, shot .397 from the field (112-of-282), .399 (63-of-158) from three-point range, and tied for third in the team in free throw percentage (.825; 52-of-63). Dickson averaged 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.95 steals per game (19). Dickson was a six-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention (11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25) and was named to the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Spring 2016 Academic Honor Roll.
