Biography

FRESHMAN (2014) – DiBona made his four starts (13GP-4GS) in centerfield and offered a .167 (3-for-18) batting average over his 22 plate appearances. He totaled two singles, a double, and walked three times to earn a .222 slugging percentage (SLG%) and a .318 on-base percentage (OBP). He totaled four runs and knocked in one other (1 RBI) while also reaching on a beanball and stealing one base (1SB-1ATT). He earned academic recognition on the Fall 2013 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2015) – DiBona (37gp-31gs) offered a strong sophomore campaign with a .293 (29-for-99) batting average and a .394 slugging percentage on two doubles and a team-high four triples. As the Griffins’ starting center fielder, he scored 23 runs and knocked in 17 more while drawing 17 walks and steal six bases (6-for-8, .750) on a .413 on-base percentage. DiBona earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2016) – DiBona made all of his 34 starts in centerfield; he appeared in 40 contests (40gp-34gs) all together. With a .278 (30-for-108) batting average, a .361 slugging percentage, and a .403 on-base percentage he totaled 23 runs and knocked in 22 more while drawing 20 walks and striking out 29 times. He also stole a career-high 17 bases (17-of-20, .850).

SENIOR (2017) – DiBona (38gp-36gs) recorded a .226 (26-for-115) batting average, but was responsible for several clutch hits during the season and finished the year with 19 runs-batted-in (RBI). He walked 22 times and stole 15 bases (15-of-16). Academically, DiBona was recognized on the fall 2016, Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll and the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball All-Academic Team.
