Chestnut Hill College Athletics

JUNIOR (2015-2016) – In her first season on The Hill, Kuhnen provided an immediate impact, leading the team in scoring with 375 points (13.9 points/game). She appeared in 27 games, starting 26 of them (27gp-26gs), while leading the team in minutes played with 965 (35.7 minutes/game). Kuhnen shot .368 (129-of-351) from the field, .369 (76-of-206) from three-point land, and a team-high .732 (41-of-56) from the free throw line. She grabbed 149 rebounds (5.5 rebounds/games) and provided 43 assists in addition to 24 blocks and 19 steals. Kuhnen was named the CACC Player of the Week on February 1, 2016, and added CACC Weekly Honor Roll mentions on November 23, January 4, and February 15. She also earned recognition on both the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Academic Honor Rolls and the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award.

SENIOR (2016-2017) – En route to an All-CACC Third Team selection, Kuhnen (27gp-27gs) led the Chestnut Hill College offense for the second consecutive season. She tallied the program’s most points in a single season (385), tied for second all-time in single season scoring average (14.3 PPG), and set the mark for most field goals made in a season (147). She finished the season shooting .467 (147-of-315) from the field, .454 (49-of-108) from three-point range, and .737 (42-of-57) from the free throw line. Kuhnen also grabbed 130 rebounds (30 offensive, 100 defensive), provided 44 assists, made 10 blocks, and 19 steals. She earned CACC Defensive Player of the Week honors on November 11, and was a CACC Weekly Honor Roll selection three times (2/20, 12/5, 11/21). Academically, Kuhnen garnered recognition on the Philadelphia Inquirer Women’s Volleyball Academic All-Area Team, the 2016-2017 Division II (DII) Athletic Director Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Awards, the 2016-2017 CACC Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, and both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.
