Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2014) – Gelfan finished her freshman season with 67 kills on a 0.99 (67K-35E-217TA) hitting percentage, participating in 21 matches and starting 19 (21mp-19ms). She also recorded an assist, 15 digs, and the Griffins’ fourth highest block total (41, 5BS-36BA).

SOPHOMORE (2015) – Gelfan found some early season success to earn 22 starts in 32 matches (32mp-22ms) and garner a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll mention on September 14. Her best performance provided 19.5 points in a 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23) loss to Pace University on September 29, offering a career-high 18 kills (.296 Ht%, 18K-2E-54TA), three digs, and three block assists. She was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2016 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2016) – Gelfan appeared in 29 matches and started in 28 of them (29gp-28ms) during her junior season. She racked up 214 kills, 33 digs, and 61 total blocks (249.5 points) and was named a CACC Weekly Honor Roll member on November 15. Academically, Gelfan was a member of the both the fall 2016 and spring 2017, Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2017) – The captain started in 26 of 29 matches (29mp-26ms) as a right outside hitter. She finished third on the team in kills (203) while totaling eight assists, 43 blocks, and 26 digs. The valued senior was recognized for her leadership and impact on the team winning the Women’s Volleyball Coach’s Award at the Chestnut Hill College’s Annual Awards Reception. She was also a member of the Spring 2018 (4.0 GPA) Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll and was inducted into the Chestnut Hill College’s Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
