Biography



FRESHMAN (2014-2015) – Starting 12 of 26 contests in which he appeared, McWade was one-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week (12/15/14) after scoring five points, three rebounds, and an assist in a 63-49 CACC loss at Philadelphia University on December 9. He posted a pair of double-doubles on the way to averaging 5.8 points-per-game (PPG) and 5.0 rebounds-per-game (RPG), while totaling 12 assists, a block, and 13 steals. He shot .457 (58-of-127) from the field, .292 (7-of-24) from three-point range, and .630 (29-of-46) from the free throw line over 22.9 minutes-per-game (MPG). McWade was also a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2015-2016) – Building on his contributions from a season ago, McWade nearly tripled his scoring average, finishing second on the squad with 13.5 PPG. He ranked third on the team in rebounding (5.0 RPG), thanks to the team’s second highest total of defensive rebounds (105). McWade started all 28 games (28gp-28gs) for the Griffins, ranking third on the team with 887 minutes played (31.7 MPG). He shot .446 from the field (133-of-296), .364 (44-of-121) from three-point range, and .693 (70-of-101) from the free throw line, while registering 10 steals and five blocks during the season. McWade was a four-time mention on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll (12/7, 12/21, 2/8, 3/1) and also garnered recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Academic Honor Rolls.

JUNIOR (2016-2017) – Before suffering a season-ending injury, McWade (16gp-16gs) totaled 155 points (9.7/game), 67 rebounds (4.2/game), 25 assists, three blocks, and four steals. He served as a team co-captain throughout the season and was honored on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll on November 21, after recording a game-high, and career-high, 24 points in a 72-62 league win over Georgian Court University on November 16.
