Biography

FRESHMAN (2016) – Amaya (8gp-0gs) appeared in eight games, six of those as a goalkeeper. She recorded 12 saves, a 4.17 goals-against average, and a .545 save percentage in 143:53 minutes of action. Amaya registered one assist – the first of her career – against University of DC on March 17. She was recognized on the fall 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2017) – The sophomore goalkeeper saw some action appearing in four contests and starting in two of them. In 85:55 minutes she made five (.185) saves.

JUNIOR (2018) – Amaya was the starting goalkeeper (15gp-14gs) for the Griffins in her junior year. She recorded 121 saves (.448 SV%) and allowed 149 (12.95 GAA%) during her 690:22 minutes protecting the net. She took nine wins and six losses.  Her efforts garnered one Player of the Week award (4/9) and a Defensive Player of the Week mention (3/27).
