Biography

FRESHMAN (2015) – Leckonby (17gp-16gs) racked up 38 goals and five assists (43 points), en route to earning three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week laurels (3/17, 4/7, 4/21), two CACC Weekly Honor mentions (3/24, 4/13) and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Year award. A force all over the field, the speedy rookie was second among all Griffins in caused turnovers (17), fourth in ground balls (32), and fourth in draw controls (24). She set a season high with seven points (six goals, one assist) in a 16-15 victory at Nyack College on March 31, part of a three-game winning streak in the middle of the season. Leckonby was 4-of-14 (.286) on free position attempts and was also a member of both the fall 2014 and spring 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SOPHOMORE (2016) – Leckonby (19gp-18gs) registered 28 points (17 goals, 11 assists) en route to being named Second Team All-CACC. She scored on 57.1% (4-of-7) on free position shots, scooped-up 50 ground balls, collected 39 draw controls, caused a team-high 31 turnovers, and scored one game-winning goal. Leckonby secured four CACC Defensive Player of the Week honors (4/18, 4/4, 3/8, 3/1), and was named to the CACC Honor Roll twice (5/4, 4/27). She earned Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award accolades, a spot on the spring 2016 CACC All-Academic Team, and was recognized on both the fall 2015 and spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

JUNIOR (2017) Leckonby was a force to be reckoned with in the midfield position for the Griffins, registering 27 goals (fourth highest on the team) on a .794 shooting-percentage, three assists, 19 ground balls, won 33 draw controls, and caused nine turnovers.  Academically, she earned a spot on the CACC All-Academic team, won an D2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement award, and garnered a Spring 2017 (4.0 GPA) Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll recognition.


SENIOR (2018) Leckonby (18gp-18gs) left her mark as a top tier Griffin in her senior year both on and off the field. On the field the midfielder scored 37 (.597) goals, 12 assists, picked up 49 ground balls, won 52 drawl controls, and caused 18 turnovers. She crossed a historic mark on 4/13 registering her 100th (119 overall) career goal in the 13-14 loss against Georgian Court University. The midfielder crushed the competition academically as well; clenching the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Top XVI Award,  the 2017-2018 Google Cloud/College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division II Academic All-American Women's At-Large Team, the 2018 Philadelphia Inquirer Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Area Performer of the Year, earned membership in both the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls, garnered a spot on the Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference team and the Chestnut Hill College’s Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, and was named as a member of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad.
