Biography
FRESHMAN (2017) – The freshman (13gp-6gs) appeared in 13 games for the Griffins. He tallied 24 (.471) goals for 29 points on the year. He scored his first collegiate goal in a 17-8 victory over Post University on February 24. He also collected two East Coast Conference (ECC) Rookie of the week awards for the week of March 14 and April 4 for his efforts.
SOPHOMORE (2019) – An All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team selection, Rees (14gp-13gs) led the team in goals (50) and points (65), while also offering a .476 shot percentage, 27 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers. He was named the CACC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week on April 29, simultaneously appearing on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week after 12 goals, an assist, six ground balls, and a caused turnover in a 2-0 week versus league rivals Georgian Court University (W, 16-13 on April 24) and Post University (W, 23-5 on April 27). Rees also garnered CACC Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll on April 15 and April 22. Later, He was recognized on the CACC All-Tournament Team for providing 11 points (10 goals, 1 assist), six ground balls, and a caused turnover in postseason contests versus #4 Dominican College (W, 19-11 on May 2) and #2 Georgian Court University (L, 10-11 on May 4). Rees was also a member of the Chestnut Hill College Fall 2018 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
