Chestnut Hill College Athletics

2022-23:  had 11 wins in singles matches on the season, eight of those while playing at the #6 singles slot…teamed up with Annika Wise to produced four doubles wins, all at the #3 slot…opened the season with six straight singles wins all at the #6 spot…beat Jefferson 7-5, 7-5 on 9/3/22 for her first collegiate singles win…earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at Kutztown on 9/10/22…added a 7-5, 6-4 win vs. Goldey-Beacom on 9/13…played her first doubles match of the season and her collegiate career, recording a 6-3 win at Bloomsburg on 9/14/22…completed the 2-0 day with a 6-0, 6-1 win at singles…had a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) singles win at Goldey-Beacom on 10/6/22…won her sixth straight singles match with a 6-2, 6-1 win vs. Dominican on 10/8/22…dropped her next match vs. Wilmington to snap her winning streak…earned a 0-6, 7-5, 1-0 (11-9) win over Jefferson on 10/18/22…her #6 singles match went unfinished at the CACC Semi-finals as Wilmington defeated the Griffins 4-0 on 10/22/22…opened the spring part of the season with a 2-0 day vs. division I Loyola University, earning a 6-4 doubles win  and a 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-2) singles win on 2/24/23…defeated Millersville at #5 singles 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) on 3/16/23…had her second singles win against a division I opponent with a 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9) victory at #4 singles at Delaware State on 3/21/23…recorded a 6-1 doubles win vs. Bloomsburg on 3/30/23…went 2-0 on the day vs. Kutztown on 4/2/23 with a 6-1 win in doubles and a 6-0, 6-2 win at #4 singles, notching her final wins of the season.

Academic Achievement:  ITA Scholar Athlete 2023… Earned Dean’s List and CHC Athletic Academic honor Roll accolades in both semesters during the 2022-23 academic year

Prior to Chestnut Hill:  Graduated from Colegio Zola Villafranca in Madrid Spain in 2022.

Personal:  daughter of Laura Romero..has one younger sister
