FRESHMAN (2009) – Latchum was the Griffins everyday left fielder in his freshman season. He batted .306 (38-for-124) with 16 runs-batted-in (RBI), and 15 stolen bases (15-of-16, 93.8%) to earn an All-CACC Second Team selection. He was the CACC Rookie of the Week on April 14.
SOPHOMORE (2010) – Latchum started all 37 games he participated in as the left fielder. He batted .266 (34-for-128) with ten RBI and nine stolen bases (9-for-14, 64.3%).
JUNIOR (2011) – After a slow start (14-for-56, .250), Latchum had a hot second half of the season. With a .317 (26-for-82) batting average over the team’s last 19 contests, he raised his season batting average to a .290 (40-for-138) while recording 20 runs, seven RBI, ten base-on-balls (BB), and four stolen bases. He earned his second All-CACC selection with an honorable mention and finished the season with 34 runs, 12 RBI, 25 BB, and 16 stolen bases (16-for-22, 72.7%).
SENIOR (2012) - Latchum led off the Griffin lineup with a .279 (43-for-154) batting average and a .397 on-base percentage. He totaled 29 runs, 12 RBI, and 15 (15-of-17, 88.2%) stolen bases, while earning himself a All-CACC Second Team selection and a
American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)
Rawlings Gold Glove (1.000 FLD%, 72PO-3A-0E). He was recognized with the Coach's Award at season's end.
