Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2015) – Sibson contributed a stellar rookie season on the bump, going 6-1 with a 3.40 earned run average (ERA) and two shutouts, one of them was a one-hitter at Briarcliffe College (NY) on April 18 that earned him a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Honor Roll mention (4/21). He was also named the CACC Rookie of the Week on March 24 after tossing six innings of two-hit ball against USciences on March 19. Sibson made ten appearances in all, starting eight games and allowing 18 earned runs on 39 hits and 22 walks while striking out 36 over 47.2 innings of work. He was also a member of the Chestnut Hill College Fall 2014 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2016) – Sibson made eight starts in nine appearances (9app-8gs) and sported a 2-3 record with a 5.30 ERA. He allowed 22 earned runs on 34 hits and 17 walks while striking out 32 over 37.1 innings of work. Sibson held opponents to a .230 (34-for-148) batting average and recorded a complete game shutout on March 16, holding Kutztown University to three hits and two walks while striking out six in the seven-inning affair.


JUNIOR (2017) – Sibson appeared in 11 games and started in 10 of them and in those appearances the pitcher was able to garner s CACC Pitcher of the Week on April 10 after he won a team-high six games (6-2) with a 3.99 ERA and a 51/22 strikeout-walk ratio. He also logged .allowed 22 earned runs on 43 hits and 22 walks. He struck out 51 in 49.2 innings of work.
On top of his athletics accomplishments he also was honored on both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Rolls and a member of the 2016-2017 CACC Baseball All-Academic Team.
