FRESHMAN (2013) – Seeing a majority of his playing time as the Griffins designated hitter, Looby was the anchor of a balanced lineup with his team-leading .331 (59-for-178) batting average, good for 11^th in the CACC, and 35 runs-batted-in (RBI), good for 6^th in the CACC. He earned All-CACC First Team status and the league’s Rookie of the Year award, additionally supporting his average and run production with nine doubles, a homerun, 15 walks, and 17 stolen bases (17-for-24, 70.8%). He was also recognized as the CACC Rookie of the Week on March 18, 2013.

SOPHOMORE (2014) – Looby backed his freshman accolades with a second CACC First Team selection in 2014. He led the Griffins in batting average (.325, 41-for-126), hits (41), doubles (10), homeruns (3), RBI (24), and slugging (.476), while earning a spot on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll on April 21 and May 5. He recorded no errors and two assists on 32 chances in left field and he stole 11 bases (11-of-13, .846).

JUNIOR (2015) – Looby (35gp-35gs) hit .273 (35-for-128) with a home run, eight doubles, 26 RBI, and 20 (20-of-23, .870) steals while making his third straight All-CACC First Team. He scored 24 runs on a .359 slugging percentage and a .377 on-base percentage on a team-high 20 walks.

SENIOR (2016) – Looby started all 46 games (46gp-46gs) and joined the Chestnut Hill College 150-hit club on March 22, before becoming the program's hit-king (184) on April 19. He enjoyed a late-season hot streak that garnered him CACC Weekly Honor Roll mentions on April 25 and May 2, and a fourth straight All-CACC laurel (2^nd Team). Looby finished the season with a .278 (49-for-176) batting average, 30 runs, and a team-best 40 RBI. He ranked third among his CACC peers in doubles (16), fifth in RBI (40), and 12^th in stolen bases (15-for-18, .833). Looby totaled 19 extra base hits while drawing 15 walks and striking out 29 times.
