Jack McGinley ’12 joined Coach Spratt’s staff as an assistant prior to the 2016 season. McGinley was a four-year (2009-2012) relief pitcher for the Griffins, accumulating 47.2 innings of work over his collegiate career. He was part the Griffins’ first two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament runs and ranks seventh all-time in appearances (41).
 
Despite a 1-0 record and one save, McGinley was a regularly used relief pitcher from 2009-2012. He finished his collegiate career with a 6.42 earned-run-average (ERA), offering a 1.93 strikeout-walk ratio and a .323 (60-for-186) opponent batting average. His best campaign came during his freshman season (2009) when he posted a 5.93 ERA and recorded his lone save in 12 appearances (13.2 innings pitched). He will serve alongside Dan Morgan ’12 and Rich Cavazza ’14 on the Chestnut Hill College pitching coach staff.
 
McGinley served as an assistant varsity baseball coach at Wissahickon High School (2014-2015) and a head coach of the U15 travel team at Total Skills Baseball (2010-2015), headquartered at Doylestown, Pennsylvania’s Intensity Sport Training facility.
 
He currently works for The American College as an instructional designer and technologist, and resides in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
