Biography

FRESHMAN (2009) – Blood recorded 14 at-bats in his freshman season, primarily serving as a pinch hitter and defensive replacement. He made three starts in the outfield and finished the season with a .071 (1-for-14) batting average.
 
SOPHOMORE (2010) – With an offseason of hard work, Blood earned 12 starts in centerfield. He made the most of the opportunity posting a .314 (16-for-51) batting average with eight runs-batted-in, and five stolen bases. He appeared in 22 games overall.
 
JUNIOR (2011) – Blood started 29 contests, and appeared in 31 total, as the Griffins primary right fielder. With a .210 (21-for-100) batting average, he produced 14 runs and 16 RBI, he recorded five doubles, 12 base-on-balls (BB), and 11 stolen bases (11-for-15, 73.3%).

SENIOR (2012) - After losing a majority of the season to injury, Blood returned late in the year to provide a fresh pair of legs off the bench. In nine appearances, two starts, he recorded a .222 (2-for-9), four runs, a double, three walks, two RBI, and five stolen bases (5-of-6, 83.3%).
