Biography

FRESHMAN (2011) – Primarily serving as a reserve infielder, Woltemate, started two games at shortstop and appeared in ten contests total. He recorded his first collegiate hit, as a starter, with a run-scoring single at Dominican College on April 9.

SOPHOMORE (2012) – Woltemate appeared in nine contests, providing the Griffin with depth at third base and shortstop. He was 1-for-3 (.333) on the season with his only hit (1-for-1) coming in a 19-0 win over Lincoln University on March 29. After singling in the seventh inning on a 3-0 count, Woltemate also stole second base before scoring on an throwing error by the Lions pitcher.

JUNIOR (2013) – Woltemate made 22 appearances with 11 of them, six starts, coming at second base. He recorded three stolen bases (3-for-3, 1.000), four runs, and a run-batted-in (RBI) on two hits and five walks.

SENIOR (2014) – Living up to his captain title, Woltemate a CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention on April 14 and collected the team's Coach's Award with his consistent play at second base (33GP-33GS). He batted .289 (35-for-121) with a team-high 25 runs scored and tied for the team lead in stolen bases with 18 on 19 attempts (18-of-19, .947).  Woltemate also totaled five doubles, 16 runs-batted-in (RBI), 15 walks, and two beanballs. He slugged .331 and carried a .329 on-base percentage.
