SOPHOMORE (2014) – Transferring from Villanova University, Slagle was a reliable performer at the plate, serving as a major contributor on offense and starting 29 of 32 games played (32GP-29GS) at catcher. He finished the season 30-for-95 (.316) with seven doubles, a triple, and a homerun earning him a .442 slugging percentage (SLG%). He scored 17 times and drew 15 walks for a .416 on-base percentage (OBP) and he was hit by a pitch twice.

JUNIOR (2015) – Slagle (34gp-34gs) was the Griffins’ everyday catcher while providing a .274 (34-for-124) batting average. He slugged .435 and posted a .328 on-base percentage with a team-high nine doubles, a triple, a team-high three home runs, and nine walks. Slagle scored 11 runs and knocked in 19 while stealing five bases on five attempts (5-for-5, 1.000).

SENIOR (2016) – Slagle closed his senior season with a hot bat to finish his swan song with a CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention (5/9) and an All-CACC Second Team selection. In his only season as a team captain, he started 36 of the 44 games (44gp-36gs) in which he appeared, either behind the plate or as the designate hitter. His .295 (38-for-129) batting average and a team-best .504 slugging percentage came with 19 extra-base hits. Slagle recorded 13 runs scored and he knocked in 24 while totaling 10 walks and 33 strikeouts. He was 2-for-2 (1.000) on his stolen base attempts.
