Biography

FRESHMAN (2010) - DePalma was slowed by injury, but still managed to provide some soild numbers with 87 kills, 22 aces, and 148 digs in her freshman season. Her best performances came at the Neumann University Tournament where she earned All-Tournament recognition. She totaled 12 kills and 17 digs against Ursinus College on September 17 and Marywood University on September 18. DePalma averaged 9.5 kills, 9.5 digs, and one ace per match in the four-match tournament.

SOPHOMORE (2011) - DePalma recorded 383 kills on a .153 (383K-188E-1,276TA) hitting percentage, in addition to her 45 aces, 404 digs, and 18 blocks. DePalma recorded 20 double-double performances including a 21-kill, 29-dig performance at the University of the Sciences on September 27. DePalma’s magnificent play for the Griffins warranted an All-CACC Second Team selection after placing second in the league for kills (383) and third in points (437). DePalma was recognized as the team's Most Valuable Player at the annual Athletic Awards Reception.

JUNIOR (2012) – DePalma took on captain duties in her junior campaign. She totaled 208 kills and 276 digs despite an early season injury limiting her to 25 matches (25 starts). DePalma led the team in points-per-set (2.74 PPS) while ranking third in both kills and digs. She was a two-time mention on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll (9/25/12 & 10/16/12).

SENIOR (2013) – In route to becoming the first Griffin in the 1,000-kill club, DePalma earned a mention on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll. DePalma totaled 28 kills and averaged 4.8 points-per-set to reach the career milestone in Griffins final two matches of the season. She started 29 out of 30 scheduled matches and finished her senior season with 323 kills (323K-207E-1197TA, .097 Ht%), 13 assists, 23 aces, 399 digs, and 16 blocks (4BS-12BA) as the Griffins second leading scorer, 356 points. Academically, DePalma was recognized on both the fall 2013 and spring 2014 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.
