Chestnut Hill College Athletics

2024:  started all seven games at quarterback…completed 53.5% of passes (83-155) for 863 yards while throwing ten touchdown passes on the season…also rushed for a career-best 162 yards on the season…set a pair of school records against Mansfield on 10/19…completing 11 of 12 passes for a record 91.7% completion percentage…with three touchdown passes and 168 yards vs. Mansfield, set a school record for passing efficiency rating with 291.8…opened the season with 15 completions and four touchdown passes for 118 yards vs. Caldwell on 9/20… added eight completions for 73 yards while rushing for a season high 53 at Army on 9/27…completed 14 of 22 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown vs. Cornell on 10/5…had eight completions for 99 yards vs. Navy on 10/12…added nine completions for 73 yards vs. STAC on 10/26…closed out the season completing 18 of 26 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns in win at Penn on 11/8

2023:   played in seven games as quarterback….had 24 completions for a school record 344 yards and three touchdowns, including a school record 99 yard pass in the Griffins opening day win over Penn on 9/15… recorded 14 completions for 185 yards and a touchdown at Caldwell on 9/23…threw two touchdown passes and had 17 completions for 149 yards at STAC on 10/6 and also ran for a touchdown…had seven completions for 68 yards and a touchdown vs Mansfield on 10/14…recorded 15 completions for 148 yards at Navy on 10/20…had three completions for 41 yards and one touchdown at Penn on 10/28…

2022:  played in seven games, starting four at quarterback…led team with 60 completions, 557 yards and 565 yards of total offense...threw four touchdown passes on the season…had ten or more completions in each of his first four games…completed 11 of 21 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in season opener vs. Navy on 9/16…had season high 12 completions (12-25) for 133 yards and a touchdown at Mansfield on 9/24also had 17 yards rushing vs. Mansfield…threw ten completions for 105 yards and a touchdown at Penn on 10/7 and also had 14 yards rushing…had 11 completions for 72 yards vs. Caldwell on 10/15…threw final touchdown pass of season at Alderson Broaddus on 11/5, completing seven [passes for 66 yards.  

Athletic Honors:  all-CSFL Honorable Mention Offense- 2024…CSFL Offensive Player of the Week (11/11/24)…CSFL Honor Roll (9/23/24)...Named CSFL Offensive Player of the Week (9/18/23)

Prior to Chestnut Hill:  was a member of the Gwynn Park High School football team...Earned 2^nd Team All-county and played in the Prince George County all-star game as a quarterback.

Personal:  Son of Tamara Barnes…has a brother Andre who was a freshman at Chestnut Hill in 2023-24
