Shawn Brady

Shawn Brady became a member of the Chestnut Hill College sprint football coaching staff prior to the inaugural 2015 campaign, serving as the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator. A record-setting signal-caller at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I-AA Northeastern University, Brady brings seven years of professional playing experience to the program.
 
Brady was a four-year starter at quarterback for Northeastern (2001-2004), where he stands as the program’s all-time leader with 54 touchdown passes and ranks second with 6,630 passing yards. He was the Atlantic 10’s Rookie of the Year in 2001 before leading the Huskies to the #1 national ranking in 2002 and 2003. In 2002, Brady guided Northeastern to the Atlantic 10 championship and the school’s first-ever NCAA Championship berth.
 
Following his prolific collegiate career, Brady played professionally in the Arena Football League (AFL) for seven years, most recently for the New England Surge (2009-2011). During his time in the AFL, Brady received tryouts for multiple National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL) franchises, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Calgary Stampeders, and Montreal Alouettes.
