Biography

FRESHMAN (2009-2010) – Ashe worked his way into the starting lineup midway through the season, assuming point guard responsibilities. He started 16 games and played in all 27 contests, while contributing 6.1 points-per-game (PPG). Ashe led the Griffins in assist (70) and finished tied for second in steals (37).

SOPHOMORE (2010-2011) – Ashe made 20 starts in 25 games last season, finishing the year in the starting lineup after serving as a reserve at the start of the season. Ashe averaged 7.0 PPG while serving as the team’s primary ball handler and defender. He finished second on the team in assists (75), steals (45), and blocks (14).

JUNIOR (2011-2012) - While serving as a team co-captain, Ashe was valuable backcourt reserve (24GP- 8GS) and defensive specialist for the Griffins. He averaged 7.0 PPG, 4.7 rebounds-per-game (RPG), while totaling 67 assists and 31 steals. He recorded his first colleigate double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds against Goldey-Beacom College on February 15, he also totaled five steals and five assists in the contest.
