Biography

PRE-CHC - Scoring 100 points (41 goals and 59 assists) in his senior season at Howell High School, Dambach finished his high school career as the Rebels all-time points leader (306, 140 goals and 166 assists). He is a two-time All-State Honorable Mention, a three-time All-Shore Conference Lacrosse Coaches Association (SCLCA) selection and a 2013 US Lacrosse High School All-American. Dambach played club lacrosse with United.

FRESHMAN (2014) – Dambach (13GP-13GS) had an impressive freshman season, finishing first on the team in assists (20) and second in points (36). He totaled 16 goals with five of them coming in a 20-8 East Coast Conference (ECC) win at Dominican College on April 12; he recorded nine points in all in that contest, dishing out four assists for a hand in nearly half (45.0%) of the Griffins goals. The effort earned him the ECC Rookie of the Week award on April 14. Dambach also registered 35 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

SOPHOMORE (2015) – Dambach (13gp-13gs) continued to serve as a potent point man for the offense, tying for the team lead with 13 assists, including a career-high and school record-tying six assists in the 18-6 Senior Day rout of Roberts Wesleyan College on April 18, garnering him an ECC Honor Roll mention (4/20). Dambach added 14 goals to his output, bringing his season point total to 27. He also recorded 25 ground balls and was recognized on both the fall 2014 and spring 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

JUNIOR (2016) – Dambach (13gp-12gs) continued his attack on the school’s record book in 2016, tying the single-season scoring mark with 57 points (37 goals, 20 assists). He tied the single-game goal mark, scoring six against Dominican College on April 2. Dambach was selected a Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area performer, the 2016 team Most Valuable Player (MVP), and earned All-East Coast Conference (ECC) Second Team honors.  He was named ECC Player of the Week on April 25, and selected to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll on two occasions (4/5, 4/18). Dambach led the team in goals (37), assists (20), points (57), and ranked second in man-up goals (2), ground balls (34), while also recording four caused turnovers and one man-down goal. Dambach earned recognition on both the fall 2015 and spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2017) – Dambach (13gp-13gs) made the most of his 13 appearances collecting multiple accolades because of his performance. Dambach led the Scarlet and Gold with 50 points (22 goals, 28 assists), 29 ground balls, and three caused turnovers. His point total tied him for seventh in the ECC, while his team-high 28 assists ranked third among the ECC leaders. He was a three-time ECC Player of the Week (4/17, 4/3, 2/28). At the annual Athletics Award Reception, Dambach was awarded this second straight Most Valuable Player (MVP) honor.  Dambach was also selected as the male recipient for the Chestnut Hill College Athletic Director's Award; given annually to the male and female student-athletes who best demonstrate dedication to the mission of the College and excels in his or her sport of choice.
