Biography

FRESHMAN (2011) - Schaffer started all 14 games on defense for the Griffins last year. He captained the backfield and led the team in creating turnovers (23), while also ranking fifth on the team for ground balls (28). He was also a member of the 2011 Chestnut Hill College Spring Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2012) – Serving as the Griffins hardnosed defender, Schaffer started all 14 contests in the Griffin backfield. He tied for fifth on the team in ground balls (25) and third in caused turnovers (15). Schaffer was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Roll for both semesters (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012).

JUNIOR (2013) – Due to injury, Schaffer started four of the eight contests in which he appeared. He recorded nine ground balls and caused two turnovers.
