He finished the year as the team leader in assists (20) and second in points (36). He totaled 16 goals with five of them coming in a 20-8 ECC win at Dominican College on April 12; he recorded nine points in all in that contest, which stood as the program’s all-time, single-game high until he masterminded a 12-point (5 goals, 7 assists) performance in a 22-4 triumph over Georgian Court University on April 11, 2017.

Serving his first term as a team captain, Dambach earned his first of two MVP awards and two All-ECC accolades (2nd Team) as a junior (2016).
