Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – Markey appeared in ten contest and contributed two goals (two points) and a ground ball as a reserve. He scored his first collegiate goal in a 13-8 loss at Wheeling Jesuit University on March 23 and scored his second a game later on a man-up opportunity in a 18-8 win over Roberts Wesleyan University.

SOPHOMORE (2014) – Markey was a surprise contributor to the Griffin offense with 11 points (seven goals and four assists) and three ground balls. He started two of 13 contests (13GP-2GS) and led the Griffins to a 11-10 East Coast Conference (ECC) win over Molloy College with two goals and an assist.

JUNIOR (2015) – Markey (10gp-8gs) battled injury to start in eight of the ten contests in which he appeared. He recorded his best season to date with 26 points on 16 goals (1 man-up) and ten assists. He also recorded 13 ground balls and caused a turnover while earning a ECC Weekly Honor Roll mention on March 9 after scoring three goals and providing an assist in the Griffins’ 10-9 win over the College of St. Rose on Tuesday, March 3, and scoring his eighth goal of the season in a 13-9 ECC loss at #12 Molloy College on Sunday, March 8. He was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Fall 2014 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2016) – Markey (13gp-3gs) registered 16 points (10 goals, 6 assists) to rank fourth on the team. He corralled five ground balls and caused three turnovers on the season. Markey was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2016 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
