Biography
FRESHMAN (2018) – Howell emerged as a major factor over the course of the season, tying for seventh in the league for goals (22), and tying for second is assists (20) to rank fourth overall in points (42). He also offered 27 ground balls and six caused turnovers. He made three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week appearances for the weeks of 4/16,4/9,4/2 and earned an 2nd team CACC All-Tournament accolade during the 2018 Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament and was named CACC Rookie of the Year.
SOPHOMORE (2019) – Howell (16gp-14gs) garnered his second straight All-CACC Second Team honor with team-highs in assists (34) and caused turnovers (T1st). He also recorded 29 goals and 40 ground balls. Howell was named the CACC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week on March 11 with 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists), five ground balls, and four caused turnovers in a 1-1 week versus the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) (L, 12-13 on March 6) and Davis & Elkins College (W, 22-4 on March 9). He was also named to the CACC Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll on March 18.
