Biography
On Saturday, December 6, 2019, Head Coach Jim Connolly and the Chestnut Hill College women’s basketball team officially welcomed nine-year old Alice Greenleaf of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, to the GriffinNation with a Team IMPACT “Draft Day” Ceremony. As a member of the Scarlet and Gold, Alice - who is battling a immune dysfunction - will work alongside her fellow Griffins, gaining confidence and strength while attending team practices, games, dinners, events, and more.
The Boston-headquartered, national non-profit, Team IMPACT connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with collegiate athletic programs to provide all parties with lifelong bonds and life-changing outcomes. Team IMPACT looks to harness the powers of teamwork and human spirit to show student-athletes the benefits of courage, resiliency, and perspective, while providing their draftee with the strength, support, and camaraderie they need to continue their fight. Since 2011, Team IMPACT has matched more than 1,900 children with more than 600 colleges and universities in 48 states, reaching over 55,000 participating student-athletes.
