Steph Zewe joined the Chestnut Hill College women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2015-2016 season. A former captain and standout forward at Kutztown University, Zewe made 54 starts for the Golden Bears, collecting 492 points and 466 rebounds in her career (2009-2013).

Zewe made 28 appearances as a freshman at Kutztown before starting 27 games each as a sophomore (2010-11) and junior (2011-12), ranking fourth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in rebounding (9.1) during the 2011-12 campaign. She finished that season with 254 boards, the second-highest single-season total in program history. Zewe then moved on to West Chester University, where she served as a compliance intern in the athletic department. With the Golden Rams, Zewe assisted with the completion of mandatory NCAA eligibility procedures, ensuring student-athletes’ participation in athletics as well as the university’s compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.

A Dean’s List member off the court and a Coach’s Award winner on it, Zewe graduated from Kutztown in 2013 with a degree in business administration, and earned a master’s degree in sport management and athletics from West Chester in 2015. She currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
