Spencer Fitzgerald '20

Spencer Fitzgerald joined the women's lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2023 spring season.  

A starter for Chestnut Hill College in the midfield from 2017-2020, Fitzgerald finished her COVID-shortened career with 122 goals, 16 assists, 100 ground balls, 73 draw controls, and 53 caused turnovers. She was selected to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) all-conference team in 2019, & served as team captain while leading the nation in free position goals in 2020.

Academically, Fitzgerald was a two-time CACC All-Academic team honoree,  a two-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient  and a two-time IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad member.  Fitzgerald also garnered four CHC Dean’s List appearances, and six Athletic Academic Honor Roll accolades. She was a  2019 Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student Athlete Honor Society inductee, served as SAAC President her senior year, and received the 2020 Athletic Director Award, given to one male and female student athlete who best demonstrate dedication to the mission of the College and excel in his or her sport of choice.  

Fitzgerald received her Baccalaureate degree, Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Forensic Biology from Chestnut Hill in 2020.  Fitzgerald also coaches for NXT LC based out of Conshohocken.
