Taylor Stone joined the Chestnut Hill College women’s lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant under Coach Scattergood in 2018. Stone played for three seasons under Coach Scattergood at Kutztown University, where she served as a captain and garnered the Women’s Lacrosse Coach’s Award as a senior (2015).
Professionally, Stone has served as a school counselor at Penn Wood Elementary School (2016), Marple Newtown High School (2016), Northley Middle School (2017), and most recently at the Counseling Experience in Havertown, Pennsylvania. The Counseling Experience is a child guidance resource center that serves children –ages 12-18 – with chronic, violent behavior or substance use, who are at risk of out-of-home placement. As a multi-systematic therapist, Stone manages a case load of four to six families through five-month treatment plans, occasionally making visits at home, school, and community events, in effort to help troubled youth with the tools they need to transform their lives.
In four years as a Golden Bear - 57 games played - Stone recorded 62 points (50 goals, 12 assists), 34 ground balls, 19 draw controls, and nine caused turnovers. She recently graduated from Kutztown University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from West Chester University in 2017 with a master’s degree in school counseling (K-12). Stone currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
