Biography
SOPHOMORE (2017-2018) – Broville was a key component to the Griffin’s 2017-2018 season, garnering an Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the Chestnut Hill College Griffins Annual Awards Reception. Her accomplishments that earned her that award consisted of a 8-4 overall individual record primarily at the number two spot (1-1 @ #1, 4-2 @ #2, 3-1 @ #3). In the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) she logged a 5-2 record. On April 8, Broville earned Chestnut Hill College the winning point at number two singles opposite West Chester University (6-4, 7-5) which garnered her a CACC April Honor Roll mention. In doubles, she paired with sophomore Nicola Guzowska (Poznan, Poland) for a 2-6 overall record (CACC 2-2) at the number one spot.
JUNIOR (2018-2019) – Broville offered the team’s best singles record at 8-8; she was 5-7 in the second flight, 1-0 in the third flight, and 2-1 in tournament play. After a 4-5 fall at number one doubles with fellow junior Mia Covic (Novi Sad, Serbia), she joined freshman Gianna Vassalluzzo (Newtown, Pa.) (1-3) and junior Nicole Yang (Blue Bell, Pa.) (1-0) in the second team flight for the spring season. There, Broville contributed to a 2-3 standing. She was named to the CACC Women’s Tennis Weekly Honor Roll on October 16 after earning number two singles wins over USciences senior Abbygail Gamarnik (Jamison, Pa.) (6-3, 6-1) and Jefferson junior Marta Yevstakhevych (Lviv, Ukraine) (6-2, 5-7, 7-6 (3)). She was named to the 2018 CACC Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team and earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2019 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
