Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2016-2017) – Yang split a 0-16 individual record between competition at number four (0-9), five (0-1), and six (0-6) singles flights. She was 2-14 in doubles play, collecting her only wins of the season alongside fellow freshman, Madison Jacobus (Toms River, N.J.), at number three doubles (2-4).

SOPHOMORE (2017-2018) – Yang split a 1-10 (CACC 1-6) individual record between competition at number five (1-5) and six (0-5) singles flights. She was 4-8 in doubles play, collecting most of her wins of the season alongside junior Julia Bellon (Indaiatuba, Brazil.), at number three doubles (3-4). She also partnered with junior Laura Lupin (Danielsville, Pa.) (1-0 @ #2) and freshman Mariana Sanchez (Trenton, N.J.) (1-3 @ #3).  Academically, Yang was a member the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team, as well as, both the fall 2016 and spring 2017 Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Rolls, and a recipient of the Arthur Asher Award.

JUNIOR (2018-2019) – Yang offered a 1-11 singles record, playing between the fourth (0-5) and fifth (1-6) individual flights. She also contributed to 3-7 doubles standing that included competition in the second (1-1) and third (2-6) team flights. In the second doubles flight, Yang was 0-1 alongside senior Julia Bellon (Indaiatuba, Brazil) and 1-0 with junior Barbara Broville (Toulouse, France). Meanwhile, in the third team flight, she was 1-3 with both freshman Gianna Vassalluzzo (Newtown, Pa.) and sophomore Mariana Sanchez (Trenton, N.J.). Academically, Yang was recognized on both the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Rolls, the 2018 CACC Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team, a recipient of both the 2018-2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Award and the 2018-2019 Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award, as well as earned induction to Chi Alpha Sigma; the National College Athlete Honor Society.
