Biography

FRESHMAN (2012) – As the Griffins primary setter, Tamsing provided the program’s second best season at the position with 582 assists (6.93/set). She also contributed ten kills, nine aces, 123 digs, and 21 blocks over 26 matches (20 starts).

SOPHOMORE (2013) – Tamsing started as the Griffins setter in three of the ten matches in which she appeared (10mp-3ms). She recorded four kills (4K-6E-18TA, -.111 Ht%), 224 assists, four aces, 40 digs, and seven blocks (1BS-6BA). Tamsing also served as a women’s volleyball representative for the Chestnut Hill College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

JUNIOR (2014) – Tamsing served as the Griffins’ starting setter in 23 of the 25 matches in which she appeared (25mp-23ms). She supplied 780 assists (third most in program history) averaging 9.18 assists-per-set at a .346 success rate. Tamsing also recorded 17 kills, six aces, 204 digs, and 18 blocks (1BS-17BA).

SENIOR (2015) – Tamsing earned the team’s Coach’s Award and provided the Griffins with one kill, 135 assists, three aces, and 56 digs over the course of the 14 matches (14mp-7ms) in which she appeared. She was also a member of both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletic Academic Honor Rolls.
