Brandon Johnson was elevated to Head Women's volleyball coach in February of 2024. He becomes the 21st head coach in the 50-year history of the volleyball program.
Last season, Johnson returned to the Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach, having previously served as in the same capacity from 2018-2021.
Johnson served as the head coach at Pennridge High School from 2016-2022, where his team won a conference championship in 2020 with an undefeated regular season. He is also the founder and Club Director for Pinnacle Volleyball Academy located in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
Beginning his volleyball coaching career in 2009, Johnson held varsity and junior varsity head coaching roles between both the Central Dauphin East Girls and Boys volleyball programs (2009-2013). Then, he transitioned into a head coach position for the 16's Club volleyball team (2014-2018) while also supervising the C.B. South Girls (2015) volleyball program.
As a player, Johnson was a four-year varsity setter and defensive specialist at Pennridge High School and started three of those years. At the collegiate level, he was a four-year starter with the Shippensburg Men's Volleyball Club Team. He started three seasons as a libero and one season as a setter for the club team.
