Chestnut Hill College Athletics

Courtney Palescandolo (Wensel) played collegiate volleyball at Jefferson from 2015-2018. She was a four year starter as an all around outside hitter. Her team competed every year in the CACC championship tournament, and she led the 2016 Rams to the first CACC championship in program history, being named MVP. That same year her team had their first NCAA appearance as well in school history, and was the CACC runner up the following year in 2017. She became a member of the 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs club her junior season, and her career stats totaled 1578 kills, 1565 digs, and 181 aces throughout her four years at Jefferson. Courtney is second all time in kills & aces, and third all time in digs in her school’s program record book. She also was a dual athlete and played shortstop for the Rams on the women’s softball team in the spring. 

Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree with a minor in Psychology. She then went on to complete an accelerated 12 month nursing program where she attained her BSN and has been working in the Emergency Department as a trauma RN for 5 years now. She got married in 2024 to her husband Alex.
