Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – McBride started 28 out of 30 scheduled matches (30mp-28ms) and led the Griffins in kills with 342 of her 378.5 points coming on a .146 (342K-177E-1132TA) hitting percentage. She also recorded nine assists, 376 digs, 13 blocks (2BS-11BA), and a team-high 29 aces. McBride was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week on October 1, after contributing 55 kills on a .248 (55K-19E-145TA) hitting percentage, five aces, 45 digs, and a block to a 1-2 week against CACC opponents; Philadelphia University, Caldwell College, and Post University. Academically, McBride was recognized on both the fall 2013 and spring 2014 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SOPHOMORE (2014) – McBride provided another quality season (30mp-29ms), totaling 320 kills (10th in CACC) and 350 digs as one of only three players in the league to hit the 300 mark in both categories. She posted a team-high 39 aces (8th in CACC) and 20 blocks to finish as the Griffins second-leading scorer, 371.0 points. McBride was honored as the CACC Player of the Week on October 28 after fueling a 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-22) CACC victory over the University of the Sciences (USciences) on October 22 with an 18.5-point night (12 kills) on a brilliant .379 (12K-1E-29TA) hitting percentage; leading the Griffins to their first-ever defeat of local league rival Philadelphia University ( W, 3-1; 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15) on October 24 with 29.0 points on seven aces, a block, and her sixth double-double of the season on a season-high 21 kills and 15 digs; and recording another double-double performance with 13 kills and 17 digs in a 3-1 (25-22, 14-25, 25-21, 25-23) CACC triumph over Bloomfield College on October 25. She was also a member of the CACC Fall 2014 All-Academic Team.

JUNIOR (2015) – McBride offered another stellar year as a starter in 29 of 32 matches (32mp-29ms). She finished second on the team in kills (275), kills/set (2.41), digs (378), and digs/set (3.32), fourth in aces (21), and sixth in blocks (23). Her best performance provided 16.0 points in a 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23) loss to Pace University on September 29, offering 13 kills (.149 Ht%; 13K-6E-47TA), two aces, 17 digs, and two block assists. She was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2016 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2016) – The senior captain started in 28 of 29 matches (29mp-28ms) and wrapped up an impressive collegiate career at Chestnut Hill College, finishing with the team lead in kills (271), fourth in aces (29), second in digs (359), and a total of 17 blocks (305.5 points). McBride headlined at the Molloy College and Queens College Invitationals, there the outside hitter totaled 47 points to earn a mention on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll (September 6). The senior also registered her 1,000 career kill milestone at the Wildcat Regional Invitational on September 9 and received the team’s Coach’s Award at the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Annual Awards Reception. She ended her collegiate career as Chestnut Hill College's all-time leader in kills (1,201).
