Biography

FRESHMAN (2010) - Mattaliano appeared in 31 sets (15 matches), totaling 17 kills and 22 digs. In the second start of her career, on September 25, Mattaliano recorded five kills, 15 digs, an assist, and an ace against Bloomfield College.

SOPHOMORE (2011) - Mattaliano proved to be the epitome of a defensive specialist for the Griffins in 2011. Mattaliano recorded an astounding 198 digs. Her smart and aggressive play helped the Griffins many times throughout the season, but it was her performance on October 27 where she recorded 13 digs and 2 assists for the Griffins that stood as her best showing. She also proved to be a threat when she was serving, recording 23 aces on the season.

JUNIOR (2012) – Mattaliano appeared in all 30 contests and started 27 of them as a defensive specialist for the Griffins. In 95 sets, she recorded a kill, ten assists, ten aces, and 164 digs (1.73/set).

SENIOR (2013) – While serving as a co-captain in her senior campaign, Mattaliano started as the Griffins defensive specialist in 16 of the 17 matches in which she appeared. She totaled seven assists, six aces, 141 digs, and four block assists. She was recognized at the annual Athletics Award Reception with the women’s volleyball Coach’s Award.
