A three-time All-CACC (2010: Honorable Mention, 2011 & 2012: 1st Team) selection and two-time Daktronics Inc. All-East Region (2011 & 2012: 2nd Team)  honoree, Jesse Daywalt '12 is the preeminent position player in Chestnut Hill College Baseball history. The two-time captain (2011, 2012) was the 2011 Most  Valuable Player (MVP; 2011) and 2010 Coach's Award recipient, while putting together back-to-back, top-25 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)  Division II (DII) Toughest Player to Strikeout campaigns (2010: 21st, 2011: 22nd) and back-to-back Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC)  Championship Tournament appearances. He ranks second all-time in runs (119) and third in hits (172).

A political science major at Chestnut Hill College, Daywalt was an exceptional student-athlete. He earned College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) Capital One Academic All-American Second Team and All-District First Team honors while garnering the CACC Male Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2012. Daywalt was a three-time CACC All-Academic Team (2010, 2011, 2012) member and a two-year captain (2011, 2012).
