Waterbury, CT – (3/27/2010) – The Griffins shutout Post University 9-0, as Chestnut Hill College swept both singles and doubles play in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest. Freshmen Pat Joson (Old Bridge, NJ) and freshman John Reading (Phoenixville, PA) both posted 6-0, 6-0 individual victories.

Chestnut Hill College (7-5, 2-0) won the bottom two doubles matches by 8-0 finals and with an 8-3 win at number one doubles the Griffins carried a 3-0 lead into individual play. Post University (1-2, 1-1) had their best shot at a point at number one singles, but freshman Joe Boyle (Doylestown, PA) prevailed with a 7-5, 6-1 win over junior Caio Rodrigues (Suzano, Brazil). The Griffins swept the remainder of individual play en route to their second conference win.

The men's tennis team returns home to host Philadelphia University in a 4:00 p.m. CACC match on Tuesday, March 30.
