Alex DePalma (Shillington, PA) topped the Griffin effort with 13 kills, 15 digs, and a block.
Georgian Court University (5-9, 4-2) and Chestnut Hill College (6-8, 1-3) exchanged sets leaving the outcome to the decisive fifth set. The Griffins looked to claim their second straight CACC victory after forcing the fifth set, but the Lions escaped victorious thanks to the comfort of their home court. Junior outside hitter Amy Berry (Bayville, NJ) led the Lions with 15 kills and 13 digs. She was helped on offense by sophomore outside hitter Tatiana Villariny Rodriguez (Rio Grande, Puerto Rico) and sophomore setter Jaslene Lopez (Coamo, Puerto Rico). Rodriguez recorded 13 kills and three aces, while Lopez supplied 50 assists and four aces as the Lions scored 15 aces in all. Sophomore defensive specialist Francheska Cedres (Carolina, Puerto Rico) made 13 digs.
