Box Score Philadelphia, Pa. – (10/3/2012) – A steady Holy Family University showing was enough to top the Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team this evening, as the Tigers defeated the Griffins 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-17) for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win.  Freshman middle hitter Rachel Biro (Nazareth, Pa.) and junior outside hitter Alexandra DePalma (Shillington, Pa.) headlined the Griffin effort on both sides of the net.

Chestnut Hill College (6-12, 2-5) started off well, holding a 4-1 lead on Holy Family University (6-13, 4-4) early in the opening set. Unfortunately, the Tigers recovered to tie the set at 5-5 before running out to a 12-5 advantage. They would eventually take the first set 25-19 on the front court play of sophomore outside hitter Devyn Ingram (King of Prussia, Pa.). In the third set, the Griffins gave the Tigers troubles at the start only to lose the set by the matches' largest margin, 25-17.
