Laure-Anne Josso (Vannes, France) won in both formats and provided the final two individual, match-clinching victories.
It was Adelphi University (16-2) who won the first point of the regional playoff with an 8-3 win at number three doubles. The celebration, however, was short-lived as Chestnut Hill College (15-9) endured for team victories at number one (8-6) and number two (9-8) singles thanks to the respective, and collective, efforts of Scholtze and senior captain

Axe Owens (Trenton, N.J.).
The Panthers briefly tied the match at 2-2 with a 6-0, 6-1, win at number five singles. But the competition soon ended as succeeding Griffin wins came at number six (6-1, 6-0), number two (6-3, 6-1), and number one (6-2, 6-2) singles. Junior
