Christina Del Vecchio (Warrington, Pa.) had another strong day for Chestnut Hill College, filling 79.41% of her frames while Freshman
Laura Oliver (Bayville, N.J.) added a 78.12 fill frame percentage along with going a perfect nine-for-nine on single-pin spares.
The Griffins had a lot of positive moments this weekend, including a program Baker record game of 257 on Friday and a program Traditional record game of 1,016 on Saturday. Del Vecchio added a Scarlet and Gold high-game of 290 Saturday, leading Chestnut Hill College to wins over a pair of top-20 participants; #24 Monmouth University 960-943 and #18 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 1,016-939.
The Chestnut Hill College women's bowling team will be back in action on Saturday, February 3, at Jay Lanes for a one day tournament in Douglassville, PA at 12:00 p.m.
