The Chestnut Hill College Women's Bowling team concluded their competition at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Meet in Elmwood Park, New Jersey on Sunday, competing in five Baker format matches.
The Griffins dropped all five contests to finish the tournament. Chestnut finished conference play with a 3-17 record.
The Griffins took on host Felician University in the opening match, losing to the Golden Falcons 932-723. The team had a high match of 178. Victoria Forbes filled eight of ten frames while Taylor Graham filled seven of ten. Alexis Horton and Cora Olsen were perfect on their single pin spare attempts.
Caldwell University defeated the Griffins 973-714 in the second match with chestnut Hill bowling a high match of 189 among the five games of the contest. Forbes and Jess Bolling filled seven of ten frames.
The Griffins faced Dominican University in the third match, falling to the chargers 857-737. Forbes was again the top performer, filling nine of ten frames while Horton filled seven of ten.
Holy Family University defeated the Griffins 804-672 in the fourth match. Forbes had a 50% strike rate in the contest and filled eight of ten frames. Horton and Graham were perfect in their single pin spare attempts.
The Griffins final match was their closest of the five contests with Chestnut hill falling to Wilmington University 786-741 with the Griffins bowling high games of 162 and 161. Forbes filled nine of ten frames while Horton filled seven of ten.
The women's bowling team has one more tournament before the conclusion of their season as the take part in the Northeast Roundup at Bowlerama in New Castle, Delaware and hosted by Wilmington University on March 14-15, 2026.
