Box Score | West Chester, Pa. - (10/9/2018) – Chestnut Hill College continued their fall season schedule today, Tuesday, October 9, with an afternoon match at West Chester University. The Griffins used a 6-0 victory at number two doubles and a 6-1 win at number three doubles to secure the first point of the match, before cementing a 7-0 victory with six straight singles wins.
 
junior Antoine Gautier (Bordeaux, France) and sophomore Jesus Darias (Bolivar, Venezuela) scored the first point of the afternoon for Chestnut Hill College (2-0) with their 6-0 win at number two doubles. The following 6-1 number three doubles win from junior Adam Gavin (Gothenburg, Sweden) and freshman Kai Adler (?) secured the first point for the Griffins, who eventually swept the round with a 6-2 number one doubles win from junior Erik Jorsal (Mudgeeraba, Australia) and freshman Tom Pitchley (London, England).
 
The Scarlet and Gold continued their winning ways as individuals, claiming victory in each individual match. Gavin scored the first of six straight Griffins' singles points with his 6-1, 6-0, win in the sixth flight. The other five all ended by 6-0, 6-1, scores and were respectively provided by Pitchley (#1), Darias (#2), Gautier (#3), Jorsal (#4), and Adler (#5).
 
Chestnut Hill College is schedule next to scrimmages the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12.
