Bloomsburg, Pa. – (11/27/2018) – Chestnut Hill College visited Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania tonight with the task of going head-to-head with Bloomsburg University in a non-conference affair. The Griffins held a steady grip on the Huskies despite their 8-of-31 (25.8%) shooting struggle in the first half, but their opponent took advantage of their opportunity and maintained their edge throughout the remainder of the contest, resulting in the 77-62 loss.
Chestnut Hill College (1-5) and Bloomsburg University (4-2) exchanged points throughout the first quarter, until its 11-9 end. In the final period before the half, the Huskies made their move at 8:00, extending their lead to as much as nine-points (20-11). After a slight breather, junior forward
Shannon Glenn (Philadelphia, Pa.) came back into the game scoring seven points that included a crucial three-pointer, which put the Griffins within two-points (25-23) of the Huskies. Only able to add one more point by the end of the half, Chestnut Hill College went into the break trailing 33-26. At 7:14 of the second half, Bloomsburg University made their move going on a six-point run, edging the Chestnut Hill College by 14-points, 48-34 (5:03, 3
rd QRT). The Huskies pushed their advantage to as much as 23-points (69-46, 4
th QRT), the Griffins continued to fight but their efforts were not enough, ending the match 77-62.
Junior guard Bella Ricci (Etters, Pa.) and classmate forward Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa.) both shared 16 points each, headlining for Bloomsburg University. The former added four rebounds, six-assists and two steals, while the latter posted a double-double with 15-rebounds, and also two assists and one steal. Sophomore guard Emma Saxton (York, Pa.) followed with a 13-point performance (2REB, 4AST, 1STL) and senior forward Marissa Molnar (Erie, Pa.) rounded out the double-figure Huskies with 12-points.

enior forward Jaeda Wildgoose (Somerset, N.J.) led with her fifth double-figure (13) performance of the season, while also logging four rebounds. Glenn posted 11-points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal and freshman guard
Lauren Crim (Warrington, Pa.) was the last Griffin to score in double digits with 10-points (2REB, 1STL).
Sophomore guard Cassie Sebold (Willow Grove, Pa.) was one point (9) shy of double-digit points but had a solid four rebounds four steals, and one assist performance.
