Box Score | Philadelphia, Pa. - (3/19/2018) – Chestnut Hill College's rough early spring schedule sent them down to the Main Line for an afternoon match at St. Joseph's University. The Hawks secured wins at every flight, dismissing the Griffins by a 7-0 final.
 
The doubles matches concluded in reverse order as St. Joseph's University (4-6) earned the team point with successive wins at number three, 6-2, number two, 6-2, and number one, 6-1. The Hawks extended their lead over Chestnut Hill College (5-3) in the individual round, using victories at number three, 6-0, 6-3, number four, 6-1, 6-2, and number six, 6-0, 6-1, singles to secure the win. But the shutout was not as easily obtained as junior Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) lasted until a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4), end at number one singles and sophomore Adam Gavin (Gothenburg, Sweden) battled to a 4-6, 6-2, 10-6, defeat at number five singles.
 
The Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team competes next on Friday, March 23, when they join the ladies for a 2:00 p.m. dual match with Millersville University.
