Domoree Hill (Bethlehem, Pa.) (14-7, 10:47 2QTR) gave the Griffins the edge to ice a 26-17 victory over th Battlers with a pair of touchdown runs from senior running back

Alderson Broaddus University (1-4, 0-2) scored the first points of the evening, cashing in on a late first quarter (0:12) heave from freshman quarterback Joshua Derocher (Sharpsburg, Md.) to freshman wide receiver Teddy Tyler (Spotsylvania, Pa.) to for a 7-0 lead. Chestnut Hill College (3-2, 1-2) answered on their ensuing possession; they ended the first quarter with a four-yard run from Penson and scored early in the second quarter (14:45) on a 54-yard connection between Marino and Browne; 7-6.
After a strong defensive stand, the Scarlet and Gold scored on their next possession; Penson dashed for 28 yards on back-to-back carries (9, 19) to lay the ground work for a 10-yard scamper from junior running back
Zhiair Bland (Woodbine, N.J.) and an eight-yard touchdown pass from Marino to Hill; 14-7 (10:47, 2QTR).
The Battlers did just that with a 26-yard field goal five minutes later (14-10, 5:53 2QTR), but the points were overshadowed by a 64-yard, Griffins touchdown drive that ended with 23 yards of Penson ground-and-pound; 20-10 (3:26, 2QTR). Alderson Broaddus University scored just a minute later, 20-17 (2:26, 2QTR), but that was as close as the home team would get with Penson soring his second touchdown of the affair with 6:15 minutes remaining in the third quarter; 26-17. Defense took over following the touchdown, preserving the Scarlet and Gold victory.
Penson piled up 132 yards and scored two touchdowns on 26 carries. Marino wad 15-of-28 for 158 yards and two touchdowns. He hit six different receivers, Browne led the group with five receptions for 85 yards and a score. Senior linebacker
Mike McIlhenney (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Chestnut Hill College defense with eight tackles. Junior defensive backs

Chestnut Hill College returns to A.A. Garthwaite Stadium on Friday, October 25, when they host Caldwell University in a 7:00 p.m. Senior Night affair.
